Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday!!!! ...Which I intend to do every or most Wednesdays for a while. This was a secret for a little while, but I'm terrible at keeping secrets. Truth be told, I think I was just afraid of failing again (I've been at this for, well, most of my teenage/adult life.). What makes this time different? Well, as seen above, it's already working and I've decided this time around I'm not letting my world revolve around losing weight. I'm already beautiful and confident (and I'm not being conceited! I promise!! I just believe in being confident and finding beauty and confidence starting from within), so, it's not so much about that as much as it is a challenge for myself and getting healthy and being able to run a marathon at some point soon! I also have crazy optimism. Like, for serious. Nothing could break my optimism at this point. I refuse to give up!
SO! Thus far I have lost a total of 26 pounds since the end of November! Yay me! And how I've done it is a combination of running, hiking, giving up sugar and starches (I'm allergic to most of them anyway) and the HCG diet (hcg is pretty controversial, I've found, so I probably won't go into that as much. But I'd be more than happy to answer any questions about it emailed to me :). I'm planning on adding dance classes, and weight training to that list this month as well!
And, hopefully, I can be a source of inspiration and optimism to others who are in the same weight loss boat!!! I know how hard it can be, but I also know how awesome and wonderful it can be :)
